Nothing is held back for the call: all sixteen jobs and their ranges are on this page. Say which door stopped you and the range closes to one figure on the call, with the evening or overnight hour already counted inside it.

Emergency Locksmith in Livermore

Emergency Locksmith

The opener died in a power cut and the front door key has not been in a pocket since escrow. The keypad on the service door went flat in July. Somebody pulled the emergency release cord and the overhead door now rolls free. A car sitting locked at the ACE station lot with the keys on the seat. A shop unit off Las Positas Road where the back cylinder turned halfway and stopped. Whatever the door is, it gets opened without damage wherever the mechanism allows, so it is still the working lock in the morning. Two honest limits: we do not touch torsion springs, panels or opener motors, so when the failure is mechanical on the overhead door itself we say so plainly and get you into the house through a keyed door instead, and a door that has been kicked gets the jamb, the strike and the cylinder put back on the same visit with the work written up for whoever has to file it.

Residential Locksmith in Livermore

Residential Locksmith

Rekeying is the biggest half of the week here, and the reason is the same on every street. Sunset East and Springtown went up in the fifties and sixties with attached garages and hardware that is still hanging on the doors. The Jensen Tract has 1920s and 40s bungalows with a detached garage off the alley and original knob sets inside. South of Concannon the houses are new, the deadbolts came with builder keypads, and the codes were set by somebody who does not live there. In all three cases a household is carrying three keys for three doors and using none of them, so the work is to pin the front door, the garage service door and the slider onto one key, then put a deadbolt into the garage-to-house slab that never got one. Cylinders get repinned rather than replaced whenever there is life left in them, and the part going on is named before it goes on.

Commercial Locksmith in Livermore

Commercial Locksmith

Business park units, shop roll-up bays with a keyed man-door beside them, hangars and storage yards along Las Positas Road and out by the airport, plus the brick and stone fronts downtown with flats over the top. Storefront hardware is the common failure: an aluminum glass door whose hookbolt no longer throws, a deadlatch worn round, a cylinder that binds every afternoon once the west wall heats up. Alongside that, exit devices on kitchens and warehouse man-doors, keypads and readers on staff doors, and master key systems for a landlord who wants one key over a building of tenants. The man-door beside a roll-up is ours; the roll-up mechanism itself is not, and we will tell you which one you have before anybody drives out. Master key work gets walked and counted on site first, because a building nobody has looked at cannot be priced honestly.

Automotive Locksmith in Livermore

Automotive Locksmith

The ACE station lot on Railroad Avenue, the outlet mall off the freeway, driveways and RV pads in Granada and Vineyard, three-car garages south of Concannon, the yards and lots along Vasco Road and Greenville Road, and the curb outside the community center. Photo ID and the registration are matched to the plate before a blank goes near the machine. Nothing gets packed up until the engine has fired twice on the new key and the doors lock and unlock with it, and a lost key can be dropped out of the vehicle memory when you want that done. One practical note: if the car is shut inside a garage whose opener has quit, say that on the call, because the house door gets opened first and the car comes after.

24/7 — nights, weekends & holidays

Say which of the three doors stopped you, hear the figure, and get inside

Livermore, Pleasanton, Dublin, San Ramon, Danville and Sunol, 24/7, holidays included. The garage and its service door, the slab between the garage and the kitchen, the front door you never open, a shop unit, a car or a safe: one figure comes back with the $89 visit and the hour counted inside it. And you do not get left standing in an open doorway, because the visit ends with a key or a code that works.
